Graphic Arts Room 201, June 2008
Picutures of GA201 after it had been remodeled for offices After broadcast operations were moved to the thifd floor of the Graphics Arts building, the former KCPR studios were remodeled to accomodate offices.
Len Filomeo was attending a Cal Poly Alumni Association retreat at Cal Poly in June and went over to the GA building to take these pictures of the remodeled offices. At the time the doors had not been installed, so it was easy to get interior pictures of the offices.
One of the most interesting new features was a window that had been installed in the back of the former production room which provided an clear view of Studio 229. Also, exterior windows are now visible from the former studio A and Master Control rooms.
The last three pictures were subsequently taken over the Labor Day weekend, 2008, after the offices had been furnished. But as it was a holiday, the place was locked up so only some exterior shots were possible. However, the new window did provide a bit of a view into the offices inside.
