I just recently came across this KCPR site and noticed that much of the earliest information is rather non-existent, except for a few pieces of information which referenced the very talented Frank Calabreese. If I can decipher Jerry Peek's tutorial and have success adding this first message to the alumni site, I'll gather up some accurate info regarding the creation of KCPR.

Alan, So glad to hear from you! There is a huge gap in our early memories of KCPR which we would love to learn more about. BTW, I have a reel-to-reel tape deck here at home in San Diego. It can be used to dub audio tapes to digital if that would be helpful.
